I'd like to see more plays drawn up for Eddie. It seems like he can't miss of late. The pressure looked good and got a lot of turnovers; I wonder if we pressure more on FT makes more the rest of the year or if it was just for North florida. I think we can rebound, get more points down low and defend 3 point land better this half though.

Still a little too sloppy for my tastes in the 2nd half so far. It looks more like a pick up game but I like that they are at least trying to get the ball in low. Davila has had a couple of nice post moves.

Freshmen are playing well together. Rankin, Brown, Barksdale, and DFS are all on the floor at the same time and the pace has picked up. Lots of good ball strips leading to fast breaks. Lead up to 18.

First time Racer catches the ball, he jacks up an NBA range 3 pointer...which clangs off the rim. Damn. So hoping he nailed it.

Oh well. 84-55 final. Much better 2nd half. Barksdale had his best game as a Hokie so far and the freshman class in general played very well.

He got a slight concussion early on I believe, and we just decided to redshirt him because he wasn't ready to contribute.

Pretty wild that a game against North Florida is covered at all... I remember a time when half of our CONFERENCE games didn't make it to TV. Now Hokie B-Ball is on TV more often than not... to a large degree.

I'm excited to see us play against a zone tonight. If we continue shooting the way we have been, and our guards can penetrate, we should roll them. Add in the fact that Directional Michigan is a horrendous offensive team.
