I am repeating something that I have been told. The source is almost sure he will not be the coach next year, and certain that he won't be the year after. It depends on timing of a few things.

How hard is that to follow.

well lets say Chip knows something no one else does. Why would he come back and waste a year of recruiting for a team that he wont be for the following year? Why not automatically leave after this season and get started on your future now? Instead of coming back for a useless season in his career because he wont be returning.

My prediction is that no he will not be coaching Oregon next season, based on the damning stuff that I have been told. i think the timetable moves up in this case and he gets out.
