There are plenty of us that still believe in stafford...there will only be a few crow.

I really think Staff is catching a lot of heat that's unfair. We've seen what he is capable of doing with a very average group. He just needs to clean up a few things.

That'd be a pretty disappointing year for Ebron if that happens. I believe Detroit finished with 46 drops last season and they had 10 more than anyone else, so I'm thinking they have to improve somewhat in that area.

With the addition of Tate -- I'd guess those numbers will go down. Also -- hopefully the surgery Calvin had will help him out too.

Its not that far fetched. 50 plus catches for a rookie TE in that offense with CJ, tate and pettigrew taking receptions away.

I'm really hoping Detroit's receiving corp have a better showing in 2014. There is no reason what so ever to have the amount of drops they had last year. When you have 46 drops and the 2nd worst team has 36 -- you have nowhere to go but up from there.

There is no reason the Lions couldn't cut their drops in half or at least get it down to the 25-30 range. 46 is just unacceptable.

^^^ it's not just the receivers who are at fault... Stafford has to learn to throw a ball with some touch regarding a few of those drops, i.e. not behind their hip or over the outstretched hands of 6'5 receivers

i agree. if detroit is actually going to be using more of a N.O. style offense. i'm guessing we should see Stafford completion % go up this year, as N.O. loves throwing little dump passes to their RB's, so Bush and Bell should see a raise in the amount of catches they have.

That is most likely who is going to take receptions from everybody. However seen them drop screen passes too many times.

Sixth seasons are notorious for breakouts.

Hey -- We have to, at least, give Stafford credit for the year he threw for 5000 yards and 41 touchdowns.

So we know he has it in him to put up a monster year -- it just about trying to get rid of unnecessary mistakes and taking a sack once in a while, instead of forcing a side arm ball into triple coverage.

Wild card with a playoff win in cowboys stadium.

I'm fascinated by this prediction, not because you think that the Lions will be in the wild card game, or that they will win it, but because you predicted it will be in Dallas. They moving Wild Card games to neutral fields?

I'm predicting Dallas to win the east as the bottom seeded division winner they would play the wild card with more wins: the Lions.

Tpaul will want the Lions to kick the tires on 3 guys that get cut in early August.

Meow will develope a twitch in the left eye due to Mayhew's lack of skills.

I will set the over/under on Stafford tirades by Smitty at 3 by the 6th game.
