Four (or five) FOUR Star recruits for Boise State is the most ever. Here's a breakdown of the newly signed recruits for Boise State who were in fact offered scholarships by the so-called "Power" 5 (a.k.a. GREEDY 5) conferences who chose to sign with Boise State instead:
1. Hank Bachmeier - QB - FOUR STAR (247 & ESPN) - Had offers from the following Power 5 schools:
Arizona, Boston College, California, Colorado, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas State, Minnesota, Mississippi, Oregon State, Tennessee, UCLA, Washington State, Utah and Vanderbilt.
2. Khyleem Waleed - WR - THREE STAR (247 & ESPN) - Had offers from the following Power 5 schools:
Arizona, Arizona State, California, Indiana, Iowa State, Michigan State, Oregon, Oregon State, UCLA, Vanderbilt and Virginia
3. Markel Reed - CB - THREE STAR (247 & ESPN) - Had offers from the following Power 5 schools:
Arkansas, Baylor, Kansas State, Purdue, Rutgers, Texas Tech and Vanderbilt
4. Dylan Hall - DL - THREE STAR (247 & ESPN) - Had offers from the following Power 5 schools:
Arizona State, Colorado, Illinois, Iowa State, Oregon State, Purdue, Utah, Washington State
5. George Holani - RB - FOUR STAR (ESPN - 3 Star on 247) Had offers from the following Power 5 schools:
Arizona State, Boston College, California, Oregon, Oregon State, UCLA, Utah
6. Casey Kline - ATH - FOUR STAR (247 & ESPN) - Had offers from the following Power 5 schools:
Arizona, Oregon, Oregon State, Washington State, UCLA
7. J. L. Skinner - S - THREE STAR (247) - Had offers from the following Power 5 schools:
Arizona, California and Iowa State
8. Shea Whiting Jr. - WR - THREE STAR (247 & ESPN) - Had offers from the following Power 5 schools:
Arizona, California, Indiana, Oregon State and Texas Tech
9. Ben Dooley - OT - THREE STAR (247 & ESPN) - Had offers from the following Power 5 schools:
California, Washington State
10. Keegan Duncan - RB - THREE STAR (247 & ESPN) - Had offers from the following Power 5 schools:
Utah
11. Jacob Golden - OT - THREE STAR (247 & ESPN) - Had offers from the following Power 5 schools:

And that doesn't include the # 1 ranked J.C. tight end, Austin Griffin (FOUR STAR on both 247 & ESPN), as he - oddly - received no offers from any of the Power 5 schools.
