Mis-leading report.

Charlotte mentioned no names, just wanting an all-star for the 4th pick. They'll have no luck in finding one

Would be way too generous to Miami in that specific scenario. There may be others they could make that would make more sense.

Way too generous for Miami? Really? Why would a contending team trade an all-star for a draft pick in a year that the draft class is weak. Do you think Anthony Bennett will do more to help them win a title next year than Bosh? They can't afford to think beyond 2014. If they do, they risk losing LeBron via free agency.

Bosh isn't a great player by any stretch, but let's get real here. It would take a true, battle tested big man to lure Bosh from Miami. Not a draft pick.

I wouldn't be entirely sure on that. It's not a straight swap either. They said they want an all-star for a package including the 4th pick. This is the type of deal that will happen for teams not wanting pay a bunch in taxes. A team like Miami, if they choose not to, could only trade a player like Bosh to an under the cap team since they can't take back anything close to equal salary. That's what Charlotte is banking on and there's only a few teams with unused cap to allow such a trade. So a couple of cheap serviceable players and a pick might be worth to a team if they are dead set on avoiding taxes. That's essentially what the Harden deal was.

There is no one that is as good as Bosh right now in the draft, let alone in their next 10 years of their career.

If they get rid of him, it will be a trade (not for just draft picks)

Not sure why Charlotte would do it when Bosh has a player option after next season and again in 2015. A package deal + 4th pick for a guy who most would speculate that there would be no chance of him opting in and playing for Charlotte after next season.

Desperation. One year of Bosh with the small hope of keeping him is a better option than what they currently have.

If I were them though, I'd just suck ass 1 more year for a shot at Andrew Wiggins. If you miss out on him, then feel free to make changes that might make you the 8th seed

I'm not buying it. Is this really on CBSSports? Charlotte would be foolish to do that.

Just stirring the pot, trying to get in Bosh's head but Bosh is the strong point of the Team when it comes to mental toughness.

It is the Heat that would be foolish, they need a proven big for Bosh if anything not a crappy draft pick.
