I can't give you one legitimate reason why Corey Perry should be kicked out of the NHL, just like I can't give you legitimate reason why Bert should be kicked out of the NHL.

Why should Bert be kicked out?!? Guys have done much worse than Bert and continued their NHL career.

Bertuzzi should have been kicked out of the league for the CHEAPSHOT he gave Moore. It was blatant & ended his career. Bertuzzi should have been given the same punishment. His NHL career should have been over as well.

You can hate Corey Perry all you want. The truth is & many of you have denied it, all of you really wouldn't mind if he played on your favorite team. Corey Perry is a modern day Esa Tikannen (sp). Every team hated him. Every team wanted him.

So if a guy with a history of concussions gets a elbow to the head from an opposing player (oh let's say Corey Perry) that ends his career, the other player's career should be finished as well?!? The NHLPA will fight that tooth and nail.

Bertuzzi deliberately did it. Going into the game there was talk that something was going to happen because of what happened the previous time the two teams met. I don't remember what it was. What Bertuzzi did was premedated. What he did was intentional. I'm sure Bertuzzi didn't intend to end his career but he did mean to injure him at the very least.

I'm an Isles fan. My team drafted Bertuzzi. I remember very well the fact that Bertuzzi refused help from former Islanders like Clark Gillies & Ken Morrow. He thought he knew everything. One time Gillies simply went up to him & tried to start a conversation. Bertuzzi couldn't get out of the room fast enough. He's a prick pure & simple.
