i moved some posts from the "i am a little worried " thread to the smack talk thread

i didnt think i could be a fair arbitrator of the dispute between PDAY and sportster so i got some advice and decided to move the conversation to the smack talk thread

hopefully all parties will understand my stance :suds:

It's all good dad, I too got a little advice and probably won't be putting you in that position again.

What did you think of ole Check down Griffin last night? Apparently he was giving us the business saying he wasn't going to listen to his coach. I liked it. If he doesn't see something in a game and checks down they can do film work later in the week. :suds:

I agree on both points.

I especially liked how he went through his progressions on a couple of them. Pleasantly surprised, but it was a small sample. I would have liked to see him play another series.

look sportster , you are a regular poster and i like debating issues with you . however i dont want you or anyone else feeling harassed by trolls but i have to balance other posters like pday and give them a "non trolling say " too

i got some advice from another mod and felt like this was the way to go . i hope pday understands that as well

now some of the other posts he made did go to attacking mode

now for my son , errrr , Rg3. i think he made a nice throw to robinson that could have been a td if the hand wasnt out of bounds . the morris throw could have been picked but he threw it outside (maybe the throw away gruden refered too ? in the presser ) so that was good .

the check down was good , however it was 4 passes so take it with a grain of salt .

KC had a great night with really only one bad pass (the 1st one )

I agree all around. We all know in football there are a lot of ways to go. Sometimes you throw the ball in row 30, sometimes you check down and sometimes you go for the chunk play. I think we all agree that Griffin is learning when to do what. That is all we can ask him to do is learn. All accounts are he works his tail off.

I am KC fan and he has more time in a pro style offense (McCoy too, now) but Kirk has a little Rex in him. Sometimes he forces a ball. He did that in college too. McCoy did well but I don't think his arm is as strong as Griffin or Cousins. He needs to anticipate more to over come that.

The kid I was interested in seeing was Jimmy Alphabet. I know he played against our last stringers but I liked what he did.
