Is gonna get tossed under the national media bus for his tantrum with the presser last night. It's coming.

Well it wasn't as bad I thought it was going to be. They said Bo was defending his quarterback. That's about it. It may not be so bad after all.

If these media guys continue to act like dickheads they should start to be banned from the conferences. Every time they try and get Bo to meltdown, even after a win. This shit needs to stop. We should be using the media to our advantage, but they have a different agenda. Our own media hurts us in recruiting and it just needs to stop. Bo gives the press conference, no the other way around.

Bo is his worst enemy when it comes to talking to the press!!

The question posed to Bo that he went off on was:
"WHAT IMPRESSED YOU MOST ABOUT TAYLOR TONIGHT"?
There's no reason for Bo to go all haywire on that question, he did it because he didn't like what the reporter wrote. He held a grudge, and there is no place for that in this business. The media can be your friend or you can make them your enemy. Just because Dirk or whomever it was wrote an article that Bo didn't agree with, is no reason to go all angst on him. Your not going to agree with what everybody writes/say's all the time anyway.

If Bo would have put Carnes in in some of those earlier games, or even in the whiscy game so everybody could get a feel for where we are at in the quarterback race, it may have been a different story line leading up to the game last night.

I dunno; but Bo has to work on his media skill's, that much I do know.

the fact of the matter is that a coach never had to put up with this shit years ago and they sure as hell shouldnt have to now.

The press and the fans dont have a RIGHT to know whats going on every damn minute of the season.We should take what is offered and shut up.

Especially the local Nebraska press, if they were worth a shit at what they do they wouldnt be writing or reporting for our local paper/ tv/ media.

Stirring shit shouldnt be their focus IMO.

Here is Clownzano at Pac12 media days. After weeks leading up to the conference the media was told to stay on football related questions and that Oregon WOULD NOT answer anything on the NCAA investigation. Even throughout the conferences on media day it was announced again. But that didnt stop clownzano.

I would disagree with that statement, WHOLE HEARTEDLY.... Go back just a few years ago, Mr. We are doing an excellent job, got his fair share of criticism and rightly so. The throat slashing during the OU game, calling T.O. a crusty ole' fuck, and so on. Even Tom took his fair share of criticism, not being able to beat OU for how many years straight, damn near got him fired.

I agree that there was some but not to the degree that there is now, and I actually meant in the pre TO era.

I just think that negative , opinion filled reporting is a problem in amature sports today.

Generally we as a group ( Husker Fans ) are smart enough to draw our own conclusions from a game and we dont need some dipshit throwing gas on the fire.

I dont want U of N to become a turnstyle for coaching everytime we have a poor season.
