Every coach has the right to point out a bad call now and then to a ref. The problem is Bo just won't let up (or shut up) when he does. As such, because of that reputation, the refs do NOT tolerate anything from him. At some point if he doesn't clean up his act, one of his outburst (and the ensuing penalty) is going to cost him a game. Problem is he won't even own up to that. I have never seen someone who loves to play the us against them game as much as Bo does.

One of the traits I admired about Dr. Tom. He seldom pointed fingers. And even when the team fucked up and he would say "we just didn't execute", you knew damn good and well, he was taking full responsibility for the problem.

Bo's antics have indeed already cost Nebraska games.

One in particular was a sideline unsportsmanlike conduct against Va Tech.

He has a deeply entrenched reputation amongst the good ol' boy referee network, and they like to throw the flags on Nebraska and overlook opponents misdoings.

That has nothing to do with turnovers tho. That is a problem of it's own.

One of the bad game time decisions was going for a fake punt when only down by 7 points with our fragile team. The future doesn't look good for Nebraska with Mad Dog as our head coach.
