You KNOW in his mind he is blaming this on a million different things that have nothing to do with the fact that he is a mediocre coach.

He was never meant to be a head coach. It's a shitty situation for him and it's a shitty situation for us. He's a bad fit. I've come to terms with that. People will call me a hypocrite because I have defended him but I just can't swim in the the cesspool of negativity that people like jed choose to.

I will always have a certain amount of blind faith, but getting ass raped by a team you absolutely dominated for a whole 2nd half in your first meeting changes your mindset.

I want him gone. No ifs, no buts. Just fucking leave.

If you look at the Ohio State game, we just got fucked by Braxton Miller and then we spotted them a bunch. That wasn't anything we were doing wrong schematically speaking.....

Last night our play calling Defensively was plain and simply never right......

We were lost on D the entire game. We had no idea what was going on.

We win 9-10 games a year consistently. Then think we could be better and fire the guy. Then the program goes into the shitter.
I'd rather take my chances on consistently good with an opportunity to improve than the "Fuck it, lets start all over again," logic. Firing 2 coaches after winning 10 games will make Nebraska a less job appealing than Kansas.

Except he has been a part of something like that, this is the 4th time in 2 years. Doesn't have the players and doesn't have the coaches and that is ultimately on him. I think he's a good in-season coach, but he needs to make the right moves in the off season to develop players and maybe (god forbid) someone who can teach him a thing or two.

He's been a part of it prior to the last couple of years as well.

Bo's first year he took some big losses. If I remember correctly he admittedly prepared wrong for the Missouri game.

I had NU at 9-3 regular season with those 3 losses coming in B1G play. He went 10-2 with only 1 loss in B1G play.

Whether he feels the need to make personnel changes, or change some process from within existing staff remains to be seen.

NU got physically bigger last off season, but it doesn't appear they got stronger. NU improved offensively the last couple years, but not fundamentally. There was no Bo-fart this year, but once again there was mass confusion on the defense resulting in 2 blowout losses.

The question is, are the improvements "part of the process", and can that "process" iron out what ails the program?

From my point of view, the issues are fixable so I will take some blind faith into the off-season that there will either be some staff changes or further development within this current staff that is hopefully learning as it goes and building some quality depth as well.

My rose colored glasses over-ride my doubts.

Any way, on to the "topic". Everyone's favorite, Dirk, said it best, "Bo isn’t good enough to get over the hump. He isn’t bad enough to fire. Nebraska is stuck in purgatory."

Does Bo need to go? Hell yes, everyone knows I have felt that way for 5 years. Can we fire him? Hell no!!!!! All we can do is pray that someone is dumb enough to take him off our hands and that he takes one of the SEC jobs.

Winning percentage does not tell the whole story but we can not fire a guy that has won 73% of his games.

Personally the whole staff should feel the heat and feel like this could be there last game at NEBRASKA wether that means anything to them or not. We need better recruits we need better coaches we need better leadership accross the board we need to get better we need to raise the bar.

This isnt the 90s ppl players have to many distractions from football. its the god damn facebook bullshit most want to put in there 3 or 4 years and go to the NFL get paid. The thing is winning a National Championship means more to the fans then the players imo

I agree with you completely.

I think their contracts need to be re-written when they come up and no renewals or extensions until then.. From the bottom up production oriented compensation. This is your salary, add blank percent each FBS game won, subtract blank percent each game lost, increase percentage on games won if win CCG or BCS bowl. You want to skate by beating lower conference schools and conference bottom feeders than that's what you get paid for.
