If he played this way in Pitt....he would never of gotten to the Pats. Pitt did the right thing for cutting a guy who quit on them. You all can make fun of Pitt all you want. BB didn't re-sign Blount for that cheap contract he signed with Pitt.

Naturally they will call him a quitter. Call him a POS... Didn`t he have some incentives in his contract that he wasn`t going to get because he wasn`t playing? Not saying that makes his choice right but it does make it more understandable.

We Pat fans are glad to have him. He's never been an issue. Hope the team keeps reminding him that Pitt let him go for the next two weeks. A pissed off Bount against Beastmode will be a great match up.

I say more power to him!!!
He was brought to the Burgh to back up Bell, He obviously didn't understand that, so he is gone.
He is putting up good numbers, if he would of been doing this in the first place I doubt y'all would of let him go. Is he a long term thing....no. That being the case would I have made Bell sit to keep him.... Ummm, Hell No!!!

'IF' he is so great, lets see if y'all sign him past this season. I'm betting once y'all get your use out of him, he'll be gone again!!!

Not starting an argument here. But he has now spent more time in NE ang he has had zero issues. He was resigned because hewanted more $ than the Pats were willing to pay at that time.

The Pats let him walk the first time because he was an UFA and he took the money with Pittsburgh. He had a great season with NE last year, particularly down the stretch. He's now signed to a minimum deal. I highly doubt he'll get resigned.

And I can totally understand that. His whole issue with Pittsburgh was he was signed as a backup to Le'Veon and he didn't like it. When we played the Texans and he had 200+ yards rushing, Blount was pissed because he didn't get any carries. Which was due to the fact that he couldn't come to grips with he was a backup. And honestly Bell won us that game... But Blount was getting pretty vocal about his role as backup and it was effecting the locker room, and he was a big influence on Bell so when he left early the front office looked at it as a reason to let him go.

I agree.... His good running as of right now I only believe he is doing it to prove a point. And point taken, but he still is not nor will he be the back Le'Veon is. Bell right now is nothing but talent, and he is still learning the NFL in only his second year. Give this kid 5 years and he is going to be one of the NFL greats at RB. There just was no way Blount could compete with that.

Blount signed a two-year deal worth up to $2.35M, per source. He gets the prorated minimum this year and up to $1.6M w/ incentives in '15.

Again, a quote by some one who has absolutely no idea of what he's talking about. First, they signed Blount to be their main running back. Thay had no idea that Bell was as good as he is. Second, Blount's contract was incentive laden and he was getting any chance to reach the incentives. Third, he went to Tomlin and asked to play and Tomlin guaranteed him he would. He didn't and it became evident that the Steelers were not going to play him and he would lose the incentives. Fourth, he walked when he wasn't played the following week. Fifth, he signed a two year deal with the Patriots.

Do your homework and then make your argument.........................

RB's are not going to get big bucks. Demarco Murray is going to find that out. But I think Blount should stay if he gets any kind of offer. The grass is not always greener and he knows he is appreciated in NE.

Hmm,.......attitude issues....?,..........or an "unfriendly" locker-room atmosphere,......the pats locker-room has a reputation of "embracing" players,......obviously Blount feels embraced = here.

You couldn't be more wrong about PIT's locker room if that's what you think...

100% attitude issues... Selfishness to be exact
