I loved listening to him call games. I could listen to him call a game of hop scotch and it would have been so interesting. We here in LA were so lucky to have Vin and Bob Miller call games for our teams. They were almost part of our family. Vin seemed like the most genuine and nicest person you would have ever met. Very sad day here in So Cal.

Ya, i mentioned in another thread that i feel lucky to have grown up listening to him.

I havent followed baseball for probably 10 years....but when i think back at listening the Vin calling Dodger games i smile
