Sims was playing at his home state. He was electric that game.

The thing about Billy was he could block, catch, and move the pile. You would never take him out of the game...and man his goal line jumps were epic. The only hole in his game was he was not the fastest back but he very well may have been the strongest. He was a box of rocks but you didn't need to be the smartest guy.

I remember seeing him on Battle of the stars an old show that had guys from all different sports compete in things like bowling, swimming, sprinting, rowing, weight lifting, and an obstacle course. Guy was strong!

I remember those Battle shows. Gastineau of all people used to win the sprints quite a bit and then lose the weight lifting to much smaller guys.
