“This is a young team that got an awful lot better in this off-season,” said Polian. “An awful lot better. I think they had the best off-season in the National Football League. I believe that the Bengals – because they’ve had such a great off-season – will win the division,” said Polian. “I think the Ravens will be a close second and be reckoned with in the playoffs. I think the Steelers had too much change.”

Pretty good praise, whether it is warranted or not since it is all on paper right now, good to hear from a former NFL Executive. Wonder if he is counting FA or just draft.

People are always trying to write off the Steelers. Nothing would make me happier than to see them struggle, but I'll believe it when I see it!

Nice to see the good press though.

It is all on paper and just lip service, but nice to hear none the less. Anyone can be an expert before the season starts and after it has ended. All that matters is what happens inbetween though, and our track record is not so good. I like the direction of this team though.

Steelers and the Ravens are still the teams to beat. Bengals do have one of the best young rosters in the NFL but I think they're still a year away. Regardless I'm looking forward to watching the young guys get after it. I love the direction that they've taken post Carson and Chad.

The Steelers always seem to make the transition from old to young at just the right moment. When they lose a guy who had been productive to FA, many seem to bust, and the replacements become instant stars. I wouldn't bet against the continuation of that trend, and if our young roster is so good it's time to show it by reversing the Steelers' domination of the Bengals. I'll believe it when I see it.

Agree..... but, Bengals DO have one of the best young rosters... How long has it been since we've said that???
