Yes, exactly............what we needed was for Kansas and Texas to do exactly what they have done, and then for us to beat one of them..........it's worked out perfectly for us.

Had Kansas not flopped in Manhattan we'd be sitting pretty damn good right now. But, either way I think this game on Wednesday would still be equally as important.

Not as important if NU had taken care of business at T Tech and when K. State was playing like shit. Alas we've got an opportunity to make it right on Wednesday night.

This is a better K State team than NU lost to in Manhatten.

This K.State/Nebraska game is of EXTREME importance. The winner will take control of 5th place, the loser will fall to 7th or potentially 8th depending the outcome of the Baylor/Missouri and Colorado/Texas Tech games.

I think the best scenario would be a NU win (obviously), A missouri win ( NU still plays Missouri and it would further hurt Baylors chances at competing for the 5th or 6th spot), and a Texas Tech win to keep Colorado down..

My bad...The furthest the K.State/Nebraska loser will fall is 7th due to Colorado's "over-all record".

A Baylor win will make a 3 way tie for 4th place with Missouri having the better 'over-all record'.

That could be screwed up then for us to get a bye then... if it held true through end of reg season... I do not know who all plays who...and when, but a 3 way tie for 4th...

Lost to KSU, we still have Mizery @ home. We're still in the tourney discussion until that game is over. We CANNOT slip up on the road. We win the next 3 we're still in IMO.
