Took a screen cap of the crucial point in the fake punt (I wanted to make a gif, but couldn't figure it out). This is the exact point that Foltz decides to go outside. there are two blockers for the 2 Iowa players going outside. if he cuts that up, he might have made it.

maybe, the one iowa guy that breaks free in behind them makes the tackle before he gets to the 1st down line, but at least he would have had a chance with that cut.

You have to practice that play more than once a year at the beginning of the year. Foltz just new he was supposed to run forest run. Goes back to executing in practice to a level of perfection and we don't do that, we haven't done that for sometime now and it show's on gameday.

Saw the post game on ESPN. You cant have a guy like that coaching Nebraska. 'My record speaks for itself' is his selling point? He is at the wrong school for 4 loss seasons to be his selling point. Blaming everyone and taking no responsibility? He should be fired on the plane before he gets home

I agree completely and that was a home game!

Um... I don't recall.....

I think I want Bo fired, but not for the teams on field performance.
-------
Well, I've read the whole thread before making a comment. One of the issues that was brought up in the discussion was the "poll". Here's my take. I don't fault when the poll was put on the board, but it's extremely difficult to vote no (I did), without it coming across as if you're not defending the program and want the team to lose. There is a huge difference is supporting the team and wanting the coaching staff dumped--and I'm in the latter camp.

Bo's demeaner today. Was he off his meds? Had he already been told he was being let go? Almost eveything that he has been told in the past (to avoid) came out, again, today in spades. Even his post game comments he had a "fuck you fire me chip on his shoulder". That doesn't look well to the fans, the administration, the local AND national media, and quite frankly even to the players themselves.

And no I won't comment on the "punt".

Finally I will say this, to whomever is under the assumption that we couldn't afford to unload Bo. Not only can the school do that, they could hire someone and pay him twice as much as what Bo's making and the school wouldn't bat an eye (expense wise).

I know we will be a better team next year. It is my strongest hope that is is with a new set of coaches.

Honestly I am tired of interpreting his tirades. What if we just hired a real coach?

Could be, it is good though, so might not be that one, think something in league with Tina Turner

Seeing that we gots sum history and might just be a bit particular to that history I thinks we should get this baby rolling with a bit of history, whut ya thinks?

Pelini will be headline news in the espn, FS1, and BTN media until Eichorst makes a statement.

Pelini is a huge embarrassment to the Nebraska program. He has never handled himself very well and represents you poorly. He has been given enough time, and perhaps could have been given another year if it weren't for his contempt for the fans and his total lack of class.

Pelini is never going to get your program back to where you want it to be. He has had plenty of time to do so. He isn't the guy. Move on and hire another coach.

Pull the trigger, and everyone will be happier.

I really don't think they were "suppose" to win the game today. Iowa looked solid all around, Huskers have issues all over the board. Throw in the injuries, crap ass coaching and turnovers, there is no way they should have been favorite.

It wasn't just today, it goes back his entire time here. We no longer have any sort of home field advantage either which is probably the worst part about it.

Just to add to that, it made the local news here in BFE Colo.
