Well yes, i will be relaxing et al, but I will not be ignoring football. I specifically go to the gym at noon because all of the games are on, and I can just watch them all while working out. It is great, and certainly a better option that a sports bar. I think I found out the SoCar-UF game will be on though...

I am very much not concerned about this...at least in the sport that matters most

....If McNabb comes back, I will be concerned. I fully expect that Virginia Tech will no longer be in the ACC by the time Syracuse rises to respectability again. I do hate playing in the Carrier dome though. Those road games will be like the GT game every year....a quirky, nuance game that I hope we just survive through.....

Big Ten or SEC.

I have written a lot on this so don't want to get to detailed here but this was a great move for Cuse and Pitt but not good for the football powers, basketball mediocres like the Hokies.

Basically, we watered down the football conference with two middle of the road Big East schools that have history but are not doing so well now. It opened up one good recruiting bed, in western PA and al OK one in New York/New Jersey but it crushed these teams chances of competing in basketball. The Hokies already recruit these two places, so really nothing was gained here for them.

We will see though. If FSU and Miami could step the fuck up a bit, it would help.

Since McNabb and Harrison types don't go to 'cuse any more, no one needs to be concerned.
