The NFL is looking to move the Combine around the league like the Super Bowl. Indianapolis has had a stranglehold on the combine for 34 years and since it has become a huge media event, it's time to share the wealth. Wonder if they'd have the balls to host it in Buffalo, Green bay, Cleveland or New England or just give warm places the chance for winter tourism.

Might be time for teams in cold climates to start putting pressure on the league to expose teams and players to a miserable blizzard for the Super Bowl or the Combine. Not every game is played in perfect climate controlled domes.

they Had a super bowl in minnesotain 2018. Temp was 2 degrees outside at kick off. So yeah, think they have shown they have the balls.

The Superbowl is a show.
A show put on for rich people.
Rich people that want to spend a week in Miami,, Houston, New Orleans, etc.
Anybody here really want to spend a week in February at 30 below?

This could be an option for Green Bay... and maybe the most likely if overall attendance is not that large.

Green Bay is trying hard to get the NFL draft for 2024 and one of 3 finalist. However, Packers will never host the Super Bowl in Green Bay as NFL notes that there is not enough hotel occupancy as needed for Super Bowl event.

In 2019 the NFL draft in Nashville drew it says 600,000 people in the 3 days... unsure how Green Bay and surrounding 1 hour radius supports that either. Green Bay metro area 320k and Fox Cities (Appleton - where NFL visiting teams stay) 1/2 hour away is 250k and the 2 largest population centers. Nashville blew prior draft attendance record away in Philly of 250k... so maybe now NFL questions viability of Green Bay for the draft if they hope for those numbers in the future.

The NFL would be moronic to move the combine. But hey, guess the NFL could finally make a home for London since they are more equipped for a combine than any of the cities mentioned in the OP.

There was no reason to move the draft from MSG, yet they did and it paid huge dividends. when they move the draft I look for them to make it more of a made for TV event.
Bring in sponsors. John Deere, official sponsor of the combine.
