I think the Norris talk was coming from Avs fans and stat-monkeys. Anyone who has watched Liles play knows he's a smooth as hell defenseman who's good for 30-40 points a year and some power play action. He's not good defensively, and he was playing way over his head with those gaudy numbers. This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone.
