Team A- 122 SOS, 162 Non Conference SOS, 1-2 vs top 25 RPI teams, 2-2 vs RPI 26-50 teams, 0-0 vs RPI 51-100 teams, 16 wins vs RPI 150+ teams, 8-2 in road/neutral games

Team B- 57 SOS, 80 Non conference SOS, 1-3 vs RPI top 25, 3-3 vs RPI 26-50, 2-2 vs RPI 51-100, 7-5 in road/neutral games, 6 wins vs RPI 150+ teams

Neither team has any bad losses. Teams are separated by 13 spots in the RPI. Which do you guys think is the more tourney worthy team OR should both make it?? Also where do you seed these teams??

Team A I'd say a 4-6 seed. Largely untested, but only 4 losses paired with 3 significant wins helps a lot. Very few teams in the country have fewer than 5 losses AND a top 25 win.

Team B I'd say a 6-8 seed. Much better schedule, but 8 losses.

That said, I might pick B to have the better chance of doing some damage in the tourney. I don't trust teams that spend more than half of their season playing crap teams. I just don't think it prepares them well enough.

I'd say both should be anywhere from an 8-10 seed. Both teams would probably take a hit against the committee. Team A played a terrible non conf SOS, and Team B already has 8 losses. I'd be interested to see who these teams really are. I have a couple guesses up my sleeve, but don't want to ruin it if I'm correct. lol.

Well, I was thinking Team A was Louisville, but teams like Western Kentucky and Missouri State, off the top of my head, don't have a 150+ RPI(although it may be close). I'm really leaning towards an AAC team, because half the conference is plus 150 teams, so you can really rack them up. Also Gonzaga came to mind as well.

Team B: I'm thinking a middle tier power conference team. Which if that's the case there are a bunch of those teams it could be. Maybe a team like Arizona State?

Figuring one out would really help with the other, knowing they are 13 spots difference in RPI. lol.

The other team is Stanford so the ASU guess was VERY close to being spot on

I was SHOCKED by how crappy Louisvilles resume really is. Their only saving grace is all their losses are solid. They really dont have too much else to hang their hat on. I mean 3-4 in games vs the Top 100 and 19-0 vs everyone else??? There are 50-70 other teams that could probably be 22-4 with that schedule.

Yeah I am surprised too, when I read this they were a team that came to mind though because of the losses. I had no idea the other was Standford.

It's funny cuz reading the comments I was inclined to agree with the comment that Team B due to being tested would probably win head to head. Now knowing the two teams...I think UL would destroy them.

The UL name should keep teams from over looking them anyways but if come March some team takes them lightly because of their schedule. UL will smack them around. They are a really nice team.

Yes, it is very, very bad. I think I had them at 6 in my last bracket, but that's mostly due to EVERYONE else around them losing, and them just moving up because of it. Also, not that it should play a factor, but the name on the front of the jersey will help them a seed line, and the gaudy record, even though there is no substance behind it. It's going to be VERY interesting to see what type of seeds the AAC gets come selection Sunday. The conference as a whole has terrible SOS's. I think the league will get 5 bids, but I can't remember the last time the EIGHTH best conference got 5 bids. Hell if it doesn't fall right for the B1G they could only be looking at 5 bids. Just very strange.

I think some of you guys are over thinking this. Kinda turning this thing into sabermetrics. It's not really that complicated. It doesn't really need this much analysis. It kills time, but the best test is the eye test.

They don't have any good wins, but the way that they beat down on shitty teams says that they are for real. They're #4 in KenPom. They haven't been tested in their wins at all. You don't win 20 of 26 games by a dozen points or more, even with a subpar schedule, if you aren't really good.

So, by your definition, UC is very, very good.

Most people here disagree for some reason. It's odd.

their SOS is 159. and you don't need to be anywhere near good to beat teams like UCF by 12, or hell, 30 points.

You, I, and 3 other guys here could probably beat UCF. They stink. Louisville can be dangerous if they get rolling, though. They can also fall flat on their ass. This years team seems like a bunch of malcontents. Something is off with them.

Cincy has 11 wins by less than a dozen. Louisville has 2 The Cardinals are much more dominant. It's why they are #4 in KenPom and Cincy is a #20. IMO, both teams are a 4 seed as of today.
