Maybe not, but I don't know how many other 5'11" QB's have won the SB in their second season and played a nearly flawless game on such a big stage.

Anyone else notice Wilson's stats? He finished with 206 yards. I mean how perfect is that? He was representing the 206 with style. (206 is our area code for those not around here)

No interceptions, made some big time first down throws, made a lot of smart decisions. This was the first SB in history with a team that didn't take any sacks or give up any turnovers and Wilson has to have some of that credit. He avoided the pass rush with the expertise we have grown to expect.

I applaud all of the non believers who have switched their allegiance to the best team in the NFL.
Your light has finally come on and we welcome into the brotherhood.

j/k hehe

I ran out of time to decide whether or not to join this wager, so my words should carry no weight, but I truly am amazed at the different beliefs in the bets, as you guys are following thru on what you think is right integrity wise.
I understand those that elect to bail when offered as I would despise switching my avi to one on enemy soil. Yuk.
Maybe that is why I saw no open time to join this wager.

Props to all involved. I salute you.

I agree with many that he didn't deserve the MVP. The story of that game was the defense and it would have been a crime to not give it to them. I know there are lots of debates going on about the defense's place in history and that will likely be debated for some time to come. What cannot be denied is it was one of the 2 or 3 best performances by a defense in Super Bowl history. It could be argued it was the best. Not in terms of points or maybe yards, but scope. Denver had the best offense in league history and Seattle nearly shut them out. The highest scoring team in the league was undressed on the field and left curled up in the fetal position. And they did it in the era of the defenseless player rules and other rules that now heavily favor the offense.

Kam, Avril, or Smith. Many guys could have been given that award which speaks to the unique nature of this entire team. It isn't about 2 or 3 major stars. I mean the team does have some total ballers, but this is a team in every sense of the word.

People love to diss on Wilson because he doesn't throw as many passes for as many yards as some other QB's in the league, but the offense is built the same way. It's about total team and balance. On a day when Lynch isn't effective he gets his stats. There were a few this year. Just makes sense to use all of the tools in your box. All a QB can do is the best he can with what he is asked to do and I can't find anyone that can tell us what he isn't doing that he should. Maybe he is a lot like those 5th, 7th, and UFA outcasts that the team is made up of. He might not work on other teams but he is PERFECT for us on this team and that's all we give a damn about.

I will take the bet as a Seattle fan. What are we betting?
Seriously, everybody they play is going to play like they are measuring themselves against Seattle. Its going to be a long season.
Guess I should find an avi to use in the meantime.
