Can’t rememer the year but the year that Westbrook got hurt in the playoffs against the Clippers was the Thunders best team. No one was touching them that season.

That is awfully convenient.

2016 was probably their best team.

88-89 Pistons

Same same imo.

Only major change was they had Dantley for half that year

The 2000s Pistons would be seen differently had they just won that damn game seven on the Spurs. Just couldn't quite finish the job after 04

my team my opinion

Fair enough.

My opinion?

No Russ led Scott Brooks coached team was going to win a title.

Now, KD leading with Riss playing a clear support role? That might have had a shot.

BEST
15-16 Cavs (57-25) with the great comeback in NBA history and beating arguably the best team ever, at the time, of course than KD jumps on the bandwagon.
3rd in offense
10th in defense (that surprised me considering they didn't have too many good to great defenders other than Lebron & TT, played good enough team defense though)

Honorable mention:
88-89 - 57 wins - Off Rtg 9th and def rtg 2nd - lost to the Bulls in 1st round on 'the shot'
91-92 - 57 wins - Off Rtg 2nd and def rtg 11th - lost to Bulls in ECF's
92-93 - 54 wins - Off Rtg 3rd and def rtg 6th - lost to Bulls in Semi's

Bad BoysII were real good the years they lost in the ECF to Miami and Cleveland too. Had the most regular season wins in one of those.

Stupid DWade and his body armor...

2004 for the Timberwolves. I still yhink that is Cassell does not hurt his back they beat the Lakers to make it to the finals.

Can't win when Derrick Martin is your starting PG.

Pretty sure KD was still around if he's talking about the year i think

yeah you are right Rockets I misspoke

Yeah it is between that team and the 2015-2016 team.

That 2012-2013 team IMO had a better group of role players behind Russ and KD.

Would take 2012-2013 version of Kevin Martin and Reggie Jackson basically over any role player at the 1-3 positions from the 2016 club except maybe Waiters and that's stretch

I agree.......Though I guess a case could be made for the 66 win team (2008-09?)

sure wish one of the 3 you mentioned in honorable mention won instead of the 2015-16 crew.

Blazers, I’d go ‘90-‘91. I wasn’t alive for the championship team, so I’m going off what I’ve seen. I know the 2 teams that sandwiched that team got to the finals, but 63 wins is hard to ignore. I also think that was the best team anyways.

Spurs, ‘14-‘15. That team was on a mission. No NBA team in history was going to beat them that particular year.

Well the Warriors did it. I think you meant 2013-2014

Which one was the best? 86 because listed first? I would agree with that
