It started in the 2nd half of 2016, and I thought it was a fluke, so I avoided him in 2017 fantasy drafts, then he did it for a whole year. I still wasn't sure I believed it after 2017, and I think he heard about my skepticism and started juicing to prove me wrong. Now he's a monster.

Lindor is off the chain, too.

They're on pace for 90+ extra base hits. MLB Channel said the only other set of teammates to ever do that were Ruth and Gehrig in '27.

Word. I was lazy at first and just said calendar year. Then I took a look at gamelogs and Bauer flipped the switch in his start on 7/27.

Then you brought up Verlander, so I looked at his gamelogs to see what was close to 7/27. He had starts on 7/24 and 7/30, but he gave up 3 ER in the 7/24 start, so I wanted to get that in there.

Full disclosure, I didn't know if Bauer was the best when I started this thread, but I wanted to know, so I figured I'd put this up and see who challenged.

Now I'm the captain of this bitch, and I'll go down with the ship if I have to.
