Wouldn't Chris Paul qualify as New Orleans best player and not Anthony Davis? I know the franchise use to be the Hornets and when they became the Pelicans, they gave all the Hornets history back to Charlotte, but ONLY the history of the franchise when it was in Charlotte. CP3 played his entire career as a Hornet after the franchise officially moved to NO (and played a year in OKC post Katrina). I think the Pels still treat all those NO Hornet years as if they were Pelicans the whole time

There seems to be no criteria. They said Jordan can't be the Wizards pick, because he was 38, wasn't the franchise player, and only played 2 years, but what about Lebron on the Heat. Don't say because he played there only 4 years, because they have CP3 listed as a Clipper.

I thought about that myself. I think Dwight Howard may have been better than Shaq when they played at the same time, but I don't think Howard's time in Orlando (or anywhere else) comes close to Shaq's time with Orlando.
