Most Outstanding Player.

Being the better player with a far inferior cast is most outstanding.

I'm not sure where you get the idea that Auburn doesn't recruit well from really. They had Cam and Nick Fairley on that team.

It's like the only thing that qualifies around here is NFL career. I just don't get that.

not even career, just guys who got drafted.

It's a decent enough measure of talent.

Not to mention the huge coaching edge that Florida had.

Less than 1% of college football players get drafted.

Even on Alabama it's only like 13% of the team.

Acting like the only players that are of note on a team are those who got drafted is exactly what I said - taking the easy way out and judging based on NFL career rather than what they did in college.

Being the best athlete does not mean best Heisman. Tebow is the embodiment of what you want in a player, especially your QB.

No surprise Florida had the big edge there too.

But Fairley was the best player of the bunch.

Being the Most Outstanding Player does.

no one was more outstanding than Newton.

And your last sentence has literally nothing to do with anything about this.

Florida looks like it has more talent, until you take into account almost all those players were very young. Auburns defense on the other hand was very experienced. Some of those guys didn't get drafted, but did sign as free agents - the same year as I recall.

Not really true. The NCAA deemed it a loophole because it was claimed "Cam didn't know" what his dad was doing. They ended up writing a new rule over the whole thing.

There is no doubt his dad was shopping him around. And if you don't think someone at Auburn paid it, then I can only suggest doing research on Auburn, casino's, blank atm cards, track winnings and Bobby Lowder.

As of right now, SportsHoopla disagrees. All Cam needs to do is tie to win the matchup..

This one is actually tough for me. I think Newton was a more natural athlete and is harder to stop, but nobody put their heart into it like Tebow.
Yeah, but Newton is better at procuring laptops and funding for churches.

Tebow will face the winner of Palmer vs Winston matchup in the semifinals.
Newton will face the winner of White vs Leinart matchup in consolation round 2.
