Andy Brown. 1974 in the NHL
spent three more years in the WHA (without a mask) before retiring

Pads like that with one half an image on each leg are good in theory, but usually wind up looking like a disaster as soon as the goalie goes into the butterfly.

Having played for 50 years, I had a number of masks over the years. One Cheevers era mask was white with a Stop sign painted on it. I had a full-face shell I painted orange with a face like a Halloween pumpkin. My last mask is a modern cage helmet with a big cat face design done by a pro.
