Best 16 teams in the country version 2.0

They're playing great basketball right now. And they are at the bottom of my list. Are you going to tell me there is a lot of difference between them and the teams 20-25, I doubt it.

I was extremely close to having UVA in my top 16 as well. This isnt the same team that got blown out by Tennessee or struggled to score vs Wisconsin. Playing MUCH better now, could easily be unbeaten in the ACC right now.

but everyone criticized me, even though i forgot a few teams due to doing it quickly.......but i wanted in on the fun!

I'm not seeing Virginia has a top 16 team. They can defend but that team just cannot consistently score.

Oklahoma not seeing it at all either.

I think there is a GREAT chance they could end up 16-2 or 15-3 in the ACC. They MIGHT be able to get a protected pod and play in Raleigh for the 1st two rounds of the Tournament.

Yes. Marquette is my #1 team but I havn't missed a gopher game yet this year.

The gophers being listed as one of my 3 favorites is more for gopher hockey but lm big basketball fan as well.

I think there is a GREAT chance they could end up 16-2 or 15-3 in the ACC. They MIGHT be able to get a protected pod and play in Raleigh for the 1st two rounds of the Tournament.

They do have a very favorable schedule that's forsure. Guess we will see how they keep progressing.

Cool. I've been a huge gopher fan since I was younger. Loved the team during the Bobby Jackson days and have stuck with them through some lean years to say the least. Lol. Are you going to the game against Wisconsin tomorrow?

Yeah there have been some rough times but I am really optimistic about what Pitino will do for the program. Love the way he has us playing and that he doesn't use the "Tubby line changes" just for the sake of playing 11 guys when really only 7 deserve minutes.

I sadly will not be able to go to the game tomorrow. Wish badly I was in town for it. When I said I havn't missed a game yet, I meant on TV lol. Making it to the games is tougher, but I get to as many as I can!!

Yeah I agree. Really surprised by what Pitino has done with the program. I was torn on the tubby firing to be honest considering we just had our best season in over 20 years(I tend to overlook the Final Four team since everyone was cheating lol) But Pitino has stepped up and has this team playing better than what I think tubby would have done with them and there is just a new energy around the program now.

And I have only been to a couple games. I live in PA so I try to get to the PSU game as much as possible and a couple years ago we played at St. Joes and I was able to get to that one. I'm hoping if Pitino is successful he will stay long term. That would be great for the program.
