The secondary and the offensive line (even after this performance) are a concern.

Both Cincinnati and Chicago were 10-6 last season.

Both teams have improved.
By draft and by free agent.

Chicago's drafting of McClellin and acquisition of Martellus Bennett will be huge.

Chicago has the potential to go 12-4.

@OP They are a lot better than they were but that seems unrealistic. Their division despite being weaker than it has been in years and containing the Browns is still very well coached with good QBs. That is going to make wins tough to come by. Also not beating the Bears today shows they are not quite there. I will admit I did not watch the game so I do not know the whole picture but the Bears are worse than both the Steelers and the Ravens.

I am going to be very generous:

Let's say they beat the Browns twice and go 2-2 against the rest of the division. (Steelers/Ravens)

They do have the Packers and Patriots at home. I think we can say they split those?

I think the Bengals are not quite as good as the Lions.

That is being so over generous it is laughable. Of their 4 remaining away games out of conference they will lose at least 1 of those. They will probably not beat the Packers or Patriots. And I really do not think they will be 4-2 in conference or win all of their home games.

I think the Bears have a good chance to win 10 games, but they have a very difficult schedule so 8 wins or less is a definite possibility. I'm just happy with the OLine play in today's game.

At first I laughed at this thread. But after looking at their schedule I could see it. I think 10-11 is more reasonable though, especially after losing in week 1.

The Bears defense is equally as good and the offense IS BETTER.

Maybe.... 9 wins isn't as much of a stretch.... but.... the 2013 Bears are going to put up some points.

It is a much more difficult schedule than 2012.

This season ... the games against Green Bay are going to be much closer.
