Well, I foresee 5-6 wins this year. I see us sticking with Andy in his last year while not retaining one of Geno or MJ or Dunlap. We win another 5-6 games. We draft a QB in 2015. We start over. Maybe he's good...maybe he isn't? We stall a few more seasons while he develops. AJ leaves for greener pastures. Etc, etc.

The time has come and passed. We blew it.

Dalton, BJGE, AJ, and Sanu? I mean really? REALLY? Coulda had Bush and Jennings and re-signed everybody. Mike simply doesn't care. It's a joke.

I think we're stuck with Andy long beyond next year, unfortunately. They like him. You're right, though...this year was the time to make hay. They had the cap space and the free agents were available, and they blew it. Going to build totally through the draft. I just wonder when they'll finally draft a home run threat at running back, and/or a safety who can play? Probably never in my lifetime.

He has a lot of talent. I actually really liked him coming out of college. He has a lot of talent, just needs coached up. Now I'm not confident we can do that. He is fast (4.44 40 time), holds the record for the most efficient QB in NCAA Division 1 history (176.68).

All I see is that he played for a crappy TB team. 4 of those games he started were as a rookie and against the Patriots, Eagles, Panthers and Redskins. Its tough to play for a bad team as a rookie and expect him to get wins. Is he great? No, but who else did you want them to sign?

Well Tubbs, this will be Johnson's 4th NFL team. He was recently cut by the Cleveland Browns. I do not believe that talent at the QB position is so easily cast off by teams with serious deficits at the position. You don't get something for nothing.

Per yer list none of those guys are any good. I guess I'd look at Seneca Wallace. But really at this point they almost need to draft a QB mid round.

that's a lottery ticket. If you want a true representation you'd have to take every QB that's been cut over the past 15 years and see how many went on to have significant success. Not many.
