Problem with the Pats is the defense hasn't been tested. Wilson shredded it and they've faced a bunch of stiffs - so that #1 scoring ranking is suspect.

They're decent on D but not as good as their ranking suggests.

The run game is the scariest. Bell has avg like 170 in both playoff games. The more they run the rock, the less time Brady has to throw and TOP can be critical

The X factor is the run game, if the pats cant stop Lev how can they stop Ben. He can throw all day and on the run. The D relies on Tom, if he has a rough game, their D gets tired. The game evens out. I feel Pitt with the proper prep can win and win by more then most think. To me, its all on Tom, and Bens success relies on Lev.

GB went 2-2 vs the AFCS , the worst division in football . Smoked by those 2 teams by over 20, that were behind Houston and didn't make the playoffs and beat mighty JAX by 3 so I don't see the hype for GB. They still beat Houston no#1 D by 18. Who cares how you start , its how you finish. I'd figure you'd know that by your first Q vs Giants. The hype is still in Vegas where they are the Fav and 4x more than GB, so put your duckets on the Packers. AFC has won the last 2 SB's and see it 3 Pitt or NE

I am not talking recent hype I am talking all through the season. It seems from early on there was nobody that could beat the Patriots. Why have people been making these assumptions? I myself just have not seen it. I saw an article today showing the strength of schedule each team played by adding up the records of the teams each tea, has played and yes the Patriots had the easiest schedule.

What I am referring to are articles like this from back in Sept ,Oct or early Nov

The dreaded Patriots from back in Oct: Who Can Stop the Dreaded Patriots?

Who can beat the Patriots from back in early Nov: Who can beat the Patriots? Ranking New England's remaining opponents

WHo can beat the Patriots back from Sept: Who can beat the Patriots? Plus: NFL Week 3 previews (podcast)

Early Oct: Who can beat the Patriots? And who almost definitely won't?

I could go on and on with different articles with the hype all through the season which in my opinion have not seen. It just gets old with constant hype all through the year. The Pack has not had the hype until recently until the last month of the year after people came back from injury and were able to play together and things started to click. The Packers have been in the playoffs since the game against Houston where if they lose your season is pretty much over and the playoffs would not be reached. I have not and am not comparing the Patriots to the Packers or the opponents they have played.

I am just saying I dont understand the season long hype where the Super Bowl should just be given to the Patriots. I could be wrong and the Patriots may kick ass and win it all but that is how I feel. They are a good team but in my opinion not some amazing team that cant be beat. If they win it all I will surely pay my respect!

As far as national media hype the Pack was written off during the losing streak. Coaches needed to be fired, Rodgers needed to be benched and so on and not many thought they would run the table or beat the Giants or beat the Cowboys. But now because they did run the table and win 2 playoff games they are one of the 4 teams left so I guess they have to be talked about. But again they are picked to lose next Sunday.

The same can be said about GB. They are playing pretty good right now but their schedule wasn't all that tough. We already saw the Packers lose to Atlanta. Matter of fact, none of the 4 remaining teams played a very tough schedule IMO.

I didnt say the same thing could not be said but I dont hear it being said in the media that there is nobody that can beat GB and that they should be given the Super Bowl trophy already. New England is a good team I just dont see them as some unstoppable team that nobody can beat. I expect the Steelers to win this next weekend.

Currently the Steelers and Packers have been the hottest teams. If that can continue until the Super Bowl we will have to wait and see.

I got you and I don't buy into the hype. I think because of Belichick and Brady , they automatically assume they are the sexy pick . Also if BB coached better the last 5 games of last season, then Pats have HFA and believe they would be in the SB, seeing they lost by 2 in Denver. Media figures they are stronger because they improved the team with Bennett and Hogan and a healthy Lewis, but now Gronk is out. Pats D has been better than expected but on the flipside they haven't play really any good teams or great QB's yet. GB is missing their top receiver in Jordy and NE with Gronk, hopefully Jordy is able to play this weekend or SB if you guys advance. Also glad for NE the coaching BS is pushed aside because last week McDaniels and Patricia were both being interviewed for HC jobs, so sucks to have your OC and DC's head somewhere else. I really have no idea who is going to win the SB, but of course I hope it's NE:suds:

Fair enough. I agree that NE is stoppable. I think we can all agree that no NFL teams are unstoppable until it happens.

Book it. You heard it here second. Non homer, objective, this is the only team that can beat them. Big Ben will take them back to the promise land. And with my incredible track record, you can set your bets on this post, YOU ARE WELCOME.
Thanks @handicappers

Talk to Vegas. They've had NE odds on favorites all year. GB just started playing good ball. Two months ago you wouldn't have even bet on your Pack.

GBs secondary is trash. Get through Ryan and that offense and we can discuss later.
Hottest teams in which way? Pitt 9 game winning streak, NE 8 game winning streak, Atlanta 5 game winning streak and GB 8.

I don't see how a team with literally 2 offensive weapons, can beat a Belichick coached defense
