I binged watched 6 episodes of Beef on Netflix. It's a great show. Well written, directed, and acted. The soundtrack is fitting and very good, as well.

Finally finished all 10 episodes. This series was fantastic. Best show of the year so far and I'm expecting plenty of Emmy love

Your post was the only reason I knew this existed.

Nice heads up. This was great.

A little shocked to see David Chou on Netflix. Hoping he gets more screen time in season two.

Just finished this one yesterday.

It was OK. All the characters were despicable. A lot like Uncut Gems. Not 1 character in the entire show that I was rooting for. Every character had me rooting for their gruesome, miserable, painful death.

That said, Yeun and Wong both carried the show with ease. I think both are continuing to establish themselves as future heavy weight actors (this on top of their existing long resumes).

I didn’t fully understand the VERY end, though. Is she so damaged that she legit fell in love with him and their extremely toxic relationship? Or are we supposed to assume that was a continuation of the berry-induced hallucination?

Looking for a new show. Debating between Beef, lincoln lawyer season 2, or The Wire.

Beef won’t take as long to binge out on.

But The Wire is the best television series in the history of the Universe.

Ive heard many say that. I just have never gotten around to watching it. IMO, it will be hard to beat 24, but im game for watching it.

How much time you got? Beef is only a limited series. 10 episodes (hr each). The Wire is 5 seasons worth of episodes (basically an hr each).

The Wire is the best, but if you've only got a short window, go with Beef. If you've got more time, do both.

I went with The Wire. One season down. Really good. Took a few episodes but its really flowing now. A couple of eps into season 2. Hated to see Michael B. Jordan go down.
It is a really well done show.

Every season looks at Baltimore from a different perspective as well and ties it all together.
