The Great Majority of our Bears off season has IMO been great. Adding some much needed Defensive talent and depth, the draft has received many good grades from respected publications.

but this is a little confusing...

The Bears have waived offensive lineman Tayo Fabuluje, their sixth-round pick in the 2015 draft.
Depth is my biggest concern- unless of course they have another trick up their sleeves, such as when they signed key vets last year around this time.

Will Beatty & Jake Long are still out there- while I don't know much about Will, Jake is a former #1 pick coming off a knee injury- should be had a with a cheap deal. Are either of these upgrades over Fabuluje?? Who knows... but at least it's interesting.

I think there is more competition on the o-line than there has been in awhile. With Massie, Long, Ramirez, Larsen, Whitehair, Grassu, Leno and more, I think it could end up being one of better units. :hope:

Interesting, but his performance has dipped pretty dramatically. Reminds me of the Orlando Pace signing in 09. Maybe he can be a nice depth piece and start in a pinch. We'll see if we even sign him.

Chandler, who turned 27 on Wednesday, entered the league as an undrafted free agent and as a defensive tackle in 2012. The Panthers moved him to offense, where he started 19 of the 37 games in which he played. His main position is right tackle

Not bad. Definitely would rather have a guy like this at 27, than a done and finished Jake Long.

We still have money we have to spend. There will be a few more players added. Teams will cut some solid players before the season. Well be ready to pounce.

I'm still recovering from T dog and Tucker. A man does not go though something like that without being changed a little. Till this day I still wonder how and who thought Tucker was a good Ideal. T dog I understand, he earned his shot at coaching.

Even Trestman was out of left field. Dude hadn't been in the league in what, 15 years? I'm actually surprised he got another shot with Baltimore.

But ya, Tucker was hot garbage juice.

They have gone for quite a while blowing their load and then having nothing to spend when teams make their final cuts. It would be nice to keep some free until we see what positions are lost during camp and preseason because you know we are gonna lose a few.

I think well get some quality depth guys. Good to still have a few bucks set aside. Some really decent players get cut for many reasons.

Manny Ramirez retired today, so one less o-lineman, depth-wise.

reminds me of Big Cat, he was a solid performer, it was like he had an advantage knowing what the DE's were taught to do.

Taking T dog over Bruce Arians is fucking stupid but hiring the worst D cord in the league is insane.

There was literally nothing indicating that Mel Tucker was a good candidate to be a DC in the NFL. That signing never made sense, at all. Emery blew...
