Aldon leads the league in sacks by at least 1 maybe 1.5, and the next 4 guys have all played 1 more game than him.

Wow. Everybody who can, go back and look at the block Gore lays on somebody on the Kaepernick to Davis TD pass in the 1st quarter. Perfect.

As I said, it was Briggs.

One thing I didn't hear a single mention of (or even notice), all game, was Kaep's throwing motion. Not even for a second. He looked comfortable.

Wow. What an awesome game.

Kap straight dominated. It will be interesting this week.

Either way boys when out team decides to show up we can dominate. Kap very impressed and the D made there stance.

Yeah, but he's still #3 or #4, IMO. Right now for me it's Watt, Miller, and then Smith/Tillman or Tillman/Smith.

Worth noting that three of the aforementioned were drafted in '11.

Yeah, that might go down as the draft of great pass rushers. Compared to the '83 draft for QBs. Robert Quinn is emerging too...

That 2011 first round was STACKED on defense.

Miller
Dareus
Peterson
Smith
Watt
Fairley
Quinn
Kerrigan
Clayborn
Wilkerson

plus some other, more forgettable players.

How many times can a guy begin an answer to a question with "I mean" in one interview? I think Kaepernick just set a record.

Man, Boone has completely remade himself. I haven't seen him out of pads in a LONG time. He looks positively svelte.

Just read that Aldon was credited with an additional sack after the game, giving him 5.5 on the night.

So now he leads the league by 2, with 1 less game played.

29th in the league in sacks allowed on a team that has by far thrown the fewest passes in the league. C'mon now.

No more needed. The stats speak for themselves. Continuing to argue in the face of those facts just makes you look dumb.

What makes you look dumb is attributing the sack totals stat to just the o-line.

Sacks are a shared responsibility between the line, rb protection, and QB.

back to topic: amazing night at the stick. The world got to witness what the niners offense could be if potential is fully realized.

One game doesn't make a starter but it's nice to know that Kaep can look that good at this level.

Where is this "1 less game" coming from? Denver has played 10 games, SF has played 10 games, Houston has played 10 games.

SF has on.y played 9 games... 7-2... At least I can only remember them playing 9 so far...

Remember all those years when we couldn't find a pass rusher, now we have the league sack leader. Just feels weird

Not only that, and we're still greedy searching for a DE or some other talent at the OLB position in the draft to play opposite of Aldon. We all seem to like Brooks, but we are looking for that fear factor. I think we still need that guy.
