Roy gave 12 players minutes today. Maybe they're just burnt from all that class time and homework ? :noidea:

I missed the game but how the hell do you dominate 10:1 shotblocking, but get out-rebounded by 13 boards? Too many 2nd chance opportunities for Butler?

Butler was dominating the offensive boards, especially in the first half. They were moving the ball extremely well too, I missed parts of the second half, but the win was definitely well deserved. In my opinion, Butler definitely looked like the better team.

I swear, it was 43-37, I walked out of the room, and now it's 48-45.

What'd Oklahoma manage to do?

a lot of missed layups and sloppy passes leading to easy buckets

Interesting win for the Badgers. A very dominant win, but I still think there were some things that need to get cleaned up. I thought the start of the 2nd half we lost a bit of focus early on. Zak Showalter is sneaky athletic. I liked Bo Ryan's philosophy of extending out the rotation a bit to keep legs fresh for Thursday or Friday. Also, always nice to be up by 30 so you can get the regulars some rest and let the young guys get some more minutes.

tough to fault them for losing some focus in the 2nd half when they completely dominated the first 20 minutes. sometimes teams just start looking ahead to the next game when they have one wrapped up, not much to be worried about

I agree with that, and they did a nice job of regaining their focus. The tough thing about this team is you almost have to nitpick at things.

We got Finney-Smith back

Kinda hope Florida wins. 3 straight years of a Wisconsin-Florida game could be quite a bit of fun. Even you guys are a bit limited with healthy scholarship players Billy Donovan can always get the most out of what he has.

Best. Problem. Ever.

Wish I felt that way about us right now, but we have a lot more uncertainty after losing our two best players from a year ago.
