I think he is a camp body with Reed down. Plus Davis has a sore hammy. It should be Paul Carrier and Sprikle for the Te battle

yeah why not go with those 3 in camp Carrier,Paul and Sprinkle 1 of those is going to get cut why not use that spot on an area of need

I agree. he is just a camp body. I don't know why O. Franklin wasn't looked at.

We don't have that great of depth at certain positions and hell why not an actual kicker to compete with Hopkins not just a camp body

My guess would be, since our offese flows through the Te position, then works its way outward to the WRs, RBs... a camp body was needed to keep the other guys from getting banged up come the first few preseason games and such.

Sorry to hear that about Bates - hope he's ok. Kid was fun to watch - I thought he might be a special team maniac who'd eventually make it as a LBer - cough*Lorenzo*cough*Alexander*cough*shouldhaveneverlethimgo.

The TE's just a camp body, but... if he shows he can block, who knows? Our TE's are not the best blockers.
