IMO there are things baseball needs to do or change to better the product for home viewers, but one thing the MLB does right is the post-season.

First, I love that the first round is a best of 5 series. Keeps it short and sweet and gets to the point.

Second, I like how they actually play their games back to back days, leaving 1 day of traveling when you change venues. For instance, Dodgers vs Cubs played back to back nights in Chicago, then they travel 1 day to LA and will play again the following day.

Unlike the NBA post season where I swear it would make logical sense for players to rent an apartment between game 1 and game 2 sometimes.

I do wish different networks had MLB rights for the postseason. FOX and TBS are god awful.

I can't stand how the NBA has all the days off. Maybe cause it's more strenuous of a game? I know there are stats that show many NBA players are worse on B2B games but damn..it's the playoffs. I hate waiting. lol

I kinda grew up on McCarver and his voice was always synonymous with post season baseball. I know he's not great but I don't mind him.

I haven't minded him the last few years at all, particularly since he retired from Fox Sports three years ago.

Better than Joe F Buck.

What they should do is hire the best in baseball and let the world hear them. Mets and Giants broadcast booth for the Series.

Kruk and Kuip and Miller
Darling, Hernandez and G Cohen

But they make us listen to shit...

My same feeling with Joe Buck. Joe Buck with this theme was what I remember growing up watching MLB post season.

I feel ya there. But yeah it is probably due to the strenuous of NBA games that the players do need that day off to recover then baseball does.

But seriously sometimes it feels like it is about 3-4 days between game 1 and game 2.

You are running the entire time in basketball. Yeah, it's a little more strenuous.

I like the Mets booth. I like to listen to a game or two of theirs a year in place of the Giants booth. Giants booth is better, but I listen to 130+ of their games a year. I like to change it up occasionally.

Reread my post. I was saying as long as those two are NOT calling the game FOX is OK. The sad part about Morgan being fired from ESPN Sunday night was that Jon Miller had to go with him. I always liked Miller and will watch San Fran broadcast just to listen to him.

yeah, I didn't see the "not". my bad.

Agreed on Miller, he's still really good.

It's all about the money. I agree with you though. Fox Sports 1 is usually been ok though
