I actually thought the elimination of the shift would have a bigger impact than it has. Perhaps it could be the result of players who were killed by the shift back in the day no longer being in the league.

I think most of baseball did as well. I see the biggest difference was from lefties. I never thought the shift was as big of a deal that it was made out to be. More in their heads. I think pull hitters still pull and still hit it to where a fielder is. I thought up the middle hitters were the biggest problem.

I am more concerned about double-play depth still used today. Does it really work? How many single outs become hits while trying to play for double outs? I have seen that a ton.
