I was actually thinking of trying to do something like this today.

I know...we'll both make a new banner that consists of elements of the ones in this thread, and then we'll create a new thread, where people can vote on which one they like.

What could go wrong?

Honestly I like the team banner better. It is clean and sleek and an overall better design. However, I voted for the player banner because I like change. I want something new, I feel it is a proper transition to move on after the Boss tribute banner.

I would not be opposed to going back to the team banner at some point, or rotating which banners we use. But for now I like the player banner idea.

i also think the trophy winners on one side was a good touch.

I did struggle with the Crosby element. Mostly because it reminds me of the face he made after the OT goal in the gold medal game agai..... FUCK CANADA!

You could modify the player one to have the logos kinda faded into the background/ice on the sides. Or...
