just because people want him to be banned doesnt mean it's warranted. He doesnt spam the board. He can make a good argument. I mean, what is the criteria that woudl warrant banning him? Everybody on here has insulted each other...I mean, that's kinda the beauty of it, no? If we all got along and brought the same personality it'd be boring.

Vance, I think you do an excellent job as mod and watch the board but that doesnt really seem that bad. I mean, people say worse shit than that in every thread (probably this one included). yeah, passive aggresive and defintiely prickish (is that a word?) but it's not like he busted out the N word or insulted your family or anything.

It's not bad when it's done once or twice spread out, but it's 4-5-6-7 times every thread that he posts in. I like debating, he doesn't debate, he tells you how it is and how your stupid if you don't agree. Not even remotely needed on a forum. If he were on a forum where real professionals post like the other forum I post on he would be banned the first day.

Again, I have no plans to ban him permanently. I have one huge pet peeve and it's being called stupid. I have no idea why, but it pisses me off faster than anything. He is free to disagree with me all he wants, but he needs to explain his side of it, not just say "you're stupid" like an 8 year old.

I simply do not like being called stupid, or inferred, directly or indirectly. That's my issue, sure, but I don't. My wife has learned she can yell at me and curse at me, but she knows not to call me stupid. If you disagree with me, fine. Your condescending tone is pissing off everybody. I get private messages from people that you probably don't suspect telling me I should ban you. The problem isn't simply with me.

I gotta say I agree with rey. Name calling is name calling. Whether it's subtle or overt. Like I said, if someone was talking shit about your family or crossing a line that way then yeah....ban them. Seems to me as a bystander that Rey just gets under your skin which is fine. But is that really a reason to censor?

1) You do have a personal issue with me whether you want to acknowledge it or not. And it comes out.

2) Leave your personal life/feelings at home. I don't care as I'm sure most others don't either.

3) Doug, the guy who thinks he's more mature than he really is, left me a profanity laced PM. So no, it doesn't surprise me. 78 is probably another one. But that doesn't bother me one iota. Not one.
