Comeds
Unreliable Narrator.
It's been a hard decision but I'm announcing my decision to boycott the NHL Hall Of Fame. For years I've put up with. Vincent Damphousse's absence even though there are numerous players inducted that Vinny was better than.
Today I noticed Alexei Kovalev is missing from the hall too. Unacceptable. 430 goals, over 1000 points playing mostly in the clutch and grab era. Multiple cup wins.
He retired in 2014 so he would have been eligible since 2019, correct? Let's look at some of these ham and eggers inducted since then.
Sergei Zubov - clutchet, grabber
Vaclav Nedomansky - mostly international player skating on big ice with little hitting or grabbing.
Kevin Lowe - just show up to work on that team and you'd be in
Daniel Alfredsson - I like him, good player. Better than Kovalev? No way.
The Sedins? Played in a more open era than Kovalev and Kovalev had better numbers. And cups. At best induct them once as a pair!
Unacceptable! Therefore I'm boycotting the NHL Hall Of Fame. (Largely ceremonial because I'm not allowed in Canada anyway, but still)
