Bam Bam Muelens the Giants hitting coach has come up with a daily hitting contest where hitters on the Giants are given points for different hitting scenarios. The tougher the scenario the the more points you get. Each day the results are posted in the clubhouse for the players to see. A great idea to promote competition within the team. Vogey scored high for his 2 out single that drove in 2 runs.Maybe this contest has contributed to the Giants hot start hitting with RISP . The team has really come through in the clutch so far this year.
