I'm just saying I have them locked in for the 7th/8th seed. They're a playoff caliber team in the loaded West. Who is better than them?

Meyers continues to impress. $3.6 mil total on 1 year deals for O'neal and Douglas is awesome. Its funny that a lot of different names were mentioned here and I think Douglas is probably the best fit when everything is considered. I remember watching him guard Curry and I was frustrated at home at how tight he was playing D. Gonna be nice to rest Curry and let Douglas just get in the grill of the opposing PG.

Sac may turn out to be a team that fights for the 8 spot if they land Monta. They have a ton of talent and with the new ownership, Cousins may actually show up to play.

HOU is not getting the two seed unless they make a trade. This Dwight move for them is largely overblown.

To each their own, but the current Rockets' roster looks a lot more impressive to me than the Spurs or Clippers. I think the Warriors might be slightly better, but I don't want to be too much of a homer (especially w/ the ankle situations). I may be overestimating the continued development of Terrence Jones and Chandler Parsons, but I think you might be underestimating the impact that Dwight can have on a team when he is 100% healthy. And yes, I don't think Morey is quite done this off-season.

Plue Cousins and Monta are not interested in playing defense. If they get Monta the Kings will definitely lead the league in stares at refs over no calls with those two.

I don't think he is as great as he, and some others, do, but he isn't the only one on the team. In the Rockets system, James Harden has proven he is a legit superstar. If they hold onto Asik (which they likely will due to his escalating salary), they will have the best back-up Center in the NBA (albeit for a pretty penny). They lose very little with Dwight Howard off the floor. When has one of his teams been able to say that? Of course, Jeremy Lin is overpaid, but as long as he doesn't turn the ball over 4+ times per game, that roster is bigger, faster and stronger than any in the league. They aren't quite as technically gifted as a lot of playoff teams, but that is where the youth and learning comes in. I think that will happen on the fly for them quite well. Again, just a useless prediction, but I wouldn't sleep on an entire team solely because their assumed best player is over-hyped.

Their over-hyped and over-paid big men do a great job of protecting the rim. Harden showed a lot of defensive prowess on the perimeter in OKC. Sefelosha is just much better. With the tempo that they run, that should be good enough. I'm not saying there is no way they don't get upset in the playoffs, but a lot of teams with bad defense have won 55-60 games in the regular season. I don't think the West is top heavy enough (or at all - there are logical arguments for a lot of teams to slip into the 7 and 8 spots) to keep a team like that from getting a 2-seed. Home court throughout the playoffs might only take 58 wins next year. I understand Dwight is over-hyped and a locker room cancer, but remember, he picked this situation.

Jamison going to the Clippers is a win for the Warriors. At this point in his career, his offensive stats are very hollow, he is not a positive player when defense is considered.

Word. I don't think I would have taken him on given our current roster make up and MJax's defensive scheming. There are plenty of better options for a big, no defensive playing, 3 point specialist. Even at that, I don't think that's a need at all for the Dubs right now.
