I look back at it and maybe the better play would have been just take a marginal streamer type guy at the end and not have a backup. If the streamer ends up hurt, you aren't terribly affected. Sort of like not having a kicker vs the kicker that got shut out or got 1 extra point.

well, kickers get you 1 point on a terrible game... TEs average 5 points per game in standard...lol

basically i am saying backup kicker may be more valuable..

You already know that’s why I am not fully on board. Sure, he SHOULD be lights out with a star WR. I will say DeAndre is on another level than OBJ...but still 2nd year QB coming off a great rookie year. It will be fun to watch

Cleveland at least tried to fix their OL which should help buy time to use OBj & others. Added a (better) 2nd TE to get more from that group. Also Bill Callahan is going to work his majik.
Their offense will be a lot better this year just because of those three things. I'm believing in a post hype leap. Not as sold on their defense.
