Thing about it is... if a team is not bringing effort, a coach can yell at them in practice and get it fixed. If a team is being selfish and playing hero-ball, a coach can yell about it in practice and get it fixed.

... if a team is shooting poorly from the FT line, the more you yell about it, the worse it gets. Johnson, Tarc and Ashley are solid from the line, it's really just Rondae and Gordon that are shameful, and as 18 year olds you know 90% of that is in their heads.

Either way, your right, they need to get that turned around asap. It's becoming a big problem.

Yep, I completely agree. Muscle memory, it's all about taking a deep breath and repeating the same motion you've been practicing 1000s of times.

I think that AG's mechanics are better than Rondae's, but as Nogi said, it's more about consistency in your routine than anything. Both have changed up their FT routine several times this season. Have to stick with one to be consistent.

I'm impressed with Stanford's defense today. They're using their size to their advantage and not letting us get easy buckets. I think we need some York city deep 3 pointers to soften them up a bit.

Yep, they look lost on offense... credit to Stanford's D.

Selfishly, I really wouldn't mind if Arizona lost to Stanford, because Dawkins is coaching for his job, if he doesn't get into the NCAA tournament he is gone... and personally I don't think he is a very good coach, so I hope he stays there. A win over Arizona would help them get in.

Stanford with a really good college basketball coach and recruiter (ie: Montgomery) is very scary.

He doesn't come in until the first timeout... at 16 minutes. He came into the game at exactly the same time that he always does.
