Heard someone talk about this today on the radio with the news Johnny Damon was claimed off of waivers. He wanted to know what reunions would be awkward for both sides if a player were to go back to a team they played for before and play there again. There are some obvious ones likes, Gretzky back to the Oilers, Brett Favre back to the Packers, But I want to hear some from you guys....

A-Roid back to Seattle

I have no hard feelings for A-Rod leaving. He was a hell of a player, and still seemingly a decent person when he was in Seattle.
Under the wings of Junior and Edgar, it would be tough to be a diva.
can't blame him for jumping when some retard from Texas offers him $250 million.

Yeah, I can agree with that. Most other fans, on the other hand...

Not exactly a reunion but Brad May going to the Avs for the first time seemed pretty awkward for me. If not for the players than at least for the fans.

Bret Hart and Hulk Hogan (and probably a few others) returning to the WWF/E must have been a bit awkward too.

not so much awkward because the fans wanted it bigtime but Ken griffey jr going back to the M's was strange all the way around

the fans embraced him but everything that went along with it from his brutal play to his sleeping in the clubhouse during a game to the rumours that the M's fired Wakamatsu because Griffey said he wouldnt take part in a "Ken Griffey Jr night" if wakamatsu was still the coach

it all seemed like a good idea at the time

Bret Hart did return. And got beat with a belt by Vince. He then returned during a PPV and gave teh beat down on Vince to end his Career officially.

It was typical WWF at its finest and the only time I have watched it since the Stone Cold Steve Austin Days :)

Yep Im a geek......
