Risner at 28 on the cheap would be a good signing. He has a penchant for penalties but otherwise, a solid NFL lineman. He would start for us.

Simply looking for solutions. At best the OL is average dare I say. Putting your eggs in the Charles or Paul basket, let alone Wylie's struggles, Cosmi trying to settle in and Leno doing his best, doesn't bode well for Rivera's job of which is lead by a 1st year starter who has 19 NFL passes. Howell deserves better but I'm confident his run ability will bode well for him this year.

I read in an article that MM and RR really wanted Avila from TCU. They were trying to trade up in the 2nd round for him, but the Rams wouldn't budge. Sorry don't have the link.

Definitely had Avila on my list as well in the 2nd. I had us taking a TE or Tackle in round 1. Oh well, happy with Forbes.

Btw, I would not start Fuller at corner this year. I would start JSB and Forbes who will likely be our starting corners in 2024. Fuller will be a FA. I believe based on interview comments, if JSB gets moved inside or doesn't start at corner, he walks as he believes (and so do I) that his athleticism, length, speed and size will allow him to be a Pro bowl corner, this year let alone next.

If you mean BSJ. I like the kid all, but for as big as he is. He should be more physical at the LOS. Plus he's too damn handsy downfield.

His speed seems adequate. Am I missing something? Starting him because of comments he made in an interview eh. That's a novel approach I guess.

Starting him because he is better than Fuller right now. Forbes has to start. Has nothing to do with his comments. I just mentioned he commented on taking his game to another level and it's clear he has the tools to do so. Leave him outside.

Can't say I agree with u about him being better than Fuller. He does have some better than decent attributes. However it works out I'm good with it.

A team needs 3 capable CBS at the very least

In the end the future could be BSJ , Forbes on the outside with Martin in the slot , with curl Defo and butler getting play at safety

Sure. I can see that as very possible. And as he's still on the right side of 30. I can see Fuller possibly being around for the near future.

How about Fuller as the slot CB?

He is a FA after the season though so with new ownership it’s hard to guess what will happen
