He could go catchless for the rest of the season as long as we are winning.

that's true. Williams and Beasley have taken up the slack. Unless someone takes him in a trade, I suppose we should keep him through the season. Who knows....maybe he has a big catch in him before seasons end.

hey Romo.....try to see the glass half full instead of stirring the waters

Getting older, always injured. Clearly lost a step. Let's try hard to trade him and move on. If not, cut him after the season.

This is what I don't get. You think he is old, injured and lost a step, yet at his high salary you also expect to get some value back for him? Me? I'm thinking we are in first place, why trade our starting WR?

It's so easy to love Beasley. I'd love to see the Cowboys give him an even bigger role than he already has. All he does is convert 3rd downs. It really helps to have a guy like him because they don't have to rely on Witten as much on third down anymore.

Yes it does. I said that 2 weeks ago. Witten is nice to go to on 3rd down. Beasley has proved to be the same. Still waiting on Dunbar to make something happen.

He's still can play, but to me has lost a step. Try and get a little something for him, and save a little money. He will be gone at the end of the season anyways.

I'd rather see Beasley with more play. Teams out there with more need than WR than us, that's how I see us getting something for him.

He may have lost a step, but he gets respect, which helps everyone else. When he's in the lineup, most teams put their 2nd best CB on Dez and give help over the top with a safety, and stick their best CB straight up on Austin. Even if he doesn't catch a ball, he's helping the team

I think Miles would be a perfect fit with Indy with Reggie Wayne being out with a Torn ACL. Maybe irsay and Jerry can get a deal done.

My primary focus (seeing how we are in first place) is this year. Are we a better team with him or without him? You'd need to get back something that I don't see another team giving to make it worth it IMO.

We know what we will get out of Austin every third game he plays at this point he's stunt the growth of the young guys. Lets let the youngsters gain more trust from Romo by playing more and grow as football players. We have done just fine w/o him so far.

It's amazing how quickly you guys turn on players. I'm not giving up on the guy that was largely responsible for our only playoff win in the last 16 years.

He won't be back next year but he still can be an asset to the team. The Giants game showed he can be a weapon out of the slot, even though Cole seems to have that job on lockdown

But as we have seen injuries happen, might have to play a larger role at some point

As A fan I also understand the business side....My old slogan for my Platoon when I was in the Marines was nothing personal strictly business. If a guy in my Unit or any unit can't get the job done there are a number of guys who are waiting for such an opportunity. I'm more loyal to the team than most players. Their or few exceptions to the rule where players may get a pass because of past performance and consistency.
