I had it recording and was watching Amazon.

When I exited my PVR was on TSN and they were interviewing Osaka.

Rafa whiffed badly on several "easy" balls.

I expected better from Thiem too against Dmitrov.

How about Brady? She's in her first Finals. It was a bit disappointing how many first serves she kept missing in her last game. But she persevered.

Tsitsipas vs. Medvedev is the first late night match I'll watch live, for the tourney. So far, I've been DVRing the previous ones.

But for this, I want to watch as much as I can live, until I get tired.

Tsitsipas struggling on too many of his service games. Lost first 2 sets, down a break in the 3rd.

I at least got both finals correct. Not much else though. I am going out on a limb and saying Medvedev wins his first major. Would love to see Brady win but that is a bigger ask IMO.

Nole is hard to beat especially when he is playing the “hurt” card he is dangerous. Because he has built an invisible shield for him to lower the expectation. Nadal used this formula lifelong to amass 21 slams. So I will go on a limb and say Nole wins it in straight sets and lets out a blood curdling scream to an empty stadium after the last point.

Serena-Osaka. The only one I was interested in seeing.
It was a one sided drubbing pretty much. 6-3, 6-4 scores usually are.

Wondering why ESPN downplayed the manner with which Osaka won. Maybe the sports writers are miffed that Serena lost. It’s time for her to retire anyways.

They stated ( funnily) that she came within reach of the slams record catching feat when she loses in the semis. I think they lost their heads from the shock of the loss and can’t think straight.

Did anyone say "Aussie Aussie Aussie, oy oy oy" during any match this tourney, from the stands?

Osaka wins again. What a satisfying tournament for her beating arch rival Serena along the way. Hope she wins some more.

You're so dumb.

You're hot takes are based on your dislike for certain players. I have a hard time believing you have ever played tennis.

Osaka's just better than her now and if she's going to beat Osaka then she has to play her best with Osaka being off of top form. It was a great run but it's clearly over.

I don't think it's over just yet. Serena best Naomi in the Rogers Cup...she just needs to be at her very best.

Or just hope someone else can take Osaka out... Serena would have handled Brady.

Yes. Agree completely but Serena and her rabid fans are in denial.
