They're looking over the soon to be merged Daytona/ALMS Series, DTM America and - most surprisingly - IndyCar.

It certainly sounds like they'll commit to at least one.
One possible 'glitch' with IndyCar: Audi would probably prefer to bring a four-banger, which means that a suitable turbo boost level (to compete against the V6s) will have to be agreed upon - and Honda & Chevy will no doubt lobby hard to keep it as low as possible.
