Neither team will have the same coach. But tOSU will still win.
Stoops jumped his shit over that I hope.Whoever your backup QB is at the time should talk shit about the Ohio State D. Seems to really help.
Petersen seems happy at Washington and he doesn't have any desire to go to the NFL. I think he's in it for life like former Washington coach Don James was.Neither team will have the same coach. But tOSU will still win.
For some reason, Austin hasn't been able to talk to the media since.Stoops jumped his shit over that I hope.
He was happy at BSU. If he gets an offer from say USC he is gone. Maybe even UCLA. He is a Cali guy and Im sure would be happy to go home to coach.Petersen seems happy at Washington and he doesn't have any desire to go to the NFL. Where do you see Meyer going? NFL or retirement? He was happy at BSU. If he gets an offer from say USC he is gone. Maybe even UCLA. He is a Cali guy and Im sure would be happy to go home to coach.
Chris Petersen Rejects USC Again, is Steve Sarkisian the Front-Runner?He was happy at BSU. If he gets an offer from say USC he is gone. Maybe even UCLA. He is a Cali guy and Im sure would be happy to go home to coach.
Retirement. You never know but I really doubt NFL and the games are 7 years from now.Where do you see Meyer going? NFL or retirement?
I will bet you 1 American dollar that he is not at WA in 7 years. He is waiting for more money from a CA school. Maybe even Stanford.
OK, you're on. SC offered him twice now and he turned them down both times. SC has a bunch of overbearing boosters similar to Texas. That and Petersen runs the show with no interference from the Washington AD. Petersen is from the NorCal area but he was an asst. coach at Oregon and Boise St. before he took over that program. He seems to like the Pacific Northwest for whatever reason(s).I will bet you 1 American dollar that he is not at WA in 7 years. He is waiting for more money from a CA school. Maybe even Stanford.
He turned down USC before he came to Washington. They talked to him before Sark.He was happy at BSU. If he gets an offer from say USC he is gone. Maybe even UCLA. He is a Cali guy and Im sure would be happy to go home to coach.
FIFYHe turned down USC twice before he came to Washington. They talked to him before Sark.
He wont be there when they play tOSU. Its that simple. He turned down USC before he came to Washington. They talked to him before Sark.
Anything is possible but if you look at coaches like Stoops, Dabo, Gundy, Patterson at TCU, Jimbo Fisher, etc... those guys don't seem to be looking elsewhere and I don't know why Petersen would be any different. He's making solid money and he has some of the better facilities in college football to work with.He wont be there when they play tOSU. Its that simple.
Seems like an unnecessarily absolute statement to make about a guy who turned down USC for Washington. We'll see I guess. He wont be there when they play tOSU. Its that simple.
Washington has not been known as a destination spot for coaches and he would be on the lower half of coaches in the SEC and B1G. I mean Kirk Ferentz is making almost half a mill more than Petersen and that's Iowa. MSU, probably OSU, Bama, probably Michigan, Penn State will all be looking for new coaches before then and all will easily pay more than what he would be getting at Washington.Anything is possible but if you look at coaches like Stoops, Dabo, Gundy, Patterson at TCU, Jimbo Fisher, etc... those guys don't seem to be looking elsewhere and I don't know why Petersen would be any different. No football coach has left Washington of his own free will since Don James retired at the end of the '93 season other than Steve Sarkisian who left UW for USC. What that means is every UW HC since 1993 other than Sark has been terminated. Don James was at UW for 18 years, Jim Owens who he proceeded was HC at Washington for 14 years before he handed over the reigns to Don James.Washington has not been known as a destination spot for coaches and he would be on the lower half of coaches in the SEC and B1G. Congratulations you had a bunch of shitty coaches since 1993. That really isn't anything to be proud of. You were able to kill what 3 coaches careers? That's like saying no Detroit Lions head coach left by choice since 1956.No football coach has left Washington of his own free will since Don James retired at the end of the '93 season other than Steve Sarkisian who left UW for USC. Granted the PAC schools don't have the TV money like the B1G and the SEC but Petersen had some solid offers to leave Boise St. and turned everyone of them down until Sark left UW and then Petersen's agent called Washington, not the other way around. Petersen already said he didn't want to coach for any school but Washington if he left Boise St. and now he's at his destination.
